Each disc for these handmade earrings is handcut and gently hammered to provide texture. A wax, turquoise patina is applied to accentuate the texture. Finally each disc is hammered into a dome shape and the surface is polished to a shine to enhance the texture.

The domes are attached to handmade 18 gauge copper earwires which are longer (and very slightly thicker) than standard so the discs hang a little further below the bottom of the ear. Each disc is 3/4 inch across and the earrings themselves hang 1 1/2 inches from top to bottom.
